Expedition 47-48 Prime and Backup Crew Members

At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, the Expedition 47-48 prime and backup crewmembers posed for pictures March 3 in front of the statue of Vladimir Lenin before flying to the launch site at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for final pre-launch preparations. From left to right are backup crewmembers Andre Borisenko and Sergey Ryzhikov of Roscosmos and Shane Kimbrough of NASA and prime crewmembers Jeff Williams of NASA and Alexey Ovchinin and Oleg Skripochka of Roscosmos. Williams, Ovchinin and Skripochka will launch March 19, Kazakh time, from Baikonur on the Soyuz TMA-20M spacecraft for a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
