Atlas V Rocket Engines Roar to Life

At Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 41, the Atlas V rocket engines roar to life. The 11:05 p.m. EDT liftoff begins a commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station. An enhanced Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft will deliver approximately 7,500 pounds of supplies, equipment and scientific research materials.
