The University of California at Davis Mapping Club came for a one-day tour of the Airborne Sensor Facility (ASF). ASF has a long tradition of informal education in the area of remote sensing for university students. With real world data, students have a chance to see flight instruments, a NIST-certified sensor calibration lab, and hear from local experts about the application of the information which we acquire and render for the Earth Science community.
