Code JCE is NASA Ames Research Center’s Facilities Engineering Branch. This branch provides the Center with various engineering and construction services including building and facilities renovation and modernization, master planning, historical preservation, engineering analysis and design, codes compliance and plan checking, construction permit approval and inspection, project management, and other facility related services. The branch offers in-house support for Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, Pressure System Safety Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. The Branch also hosts the Electrical Power Reliability Office (EPrO) to assure quality electrical power is scheduled and delivered to the Center and distributed to every facility.
The branch is supported by an on-site Architect-Engineering contract and Multiple Award Construction Contractors with design-build capability.
