This resource includes a brief video and expanded text explanation of the GPM mission. GPM is an international satellite mission that will set a new standard for precipitation measurement from space, providing new observations of rain and snow worldwide, every three hours. The GPM mission consists of a constellation of nine satellites provided by a consortia of partners in the United States, Japan, France, India and Europe.
