Smart Mobility (SM) at Ames is a project within the Aeronautics Project Office at Ames Research Center that enables aeronautics research activities that involve flight of uncrewed vehicles. By working closely with the Ames Aviation Management Office, SM supports aeronautics researchers by assisting with flight activity plans, preparing for airworthiness and flight readiness reviews, and managing the research missions. SM also maintains a book of infrastructure requirements that aeronautics projects may need when flying at Ames, and SM manages the integration of these infrastructure systems in coordination with the requesting organizations. And finally, SM serves as an initial focal point for external, non-NASA partners to engage in aeronautics collaborative activities.t mobility here…
