Introduction
OpenVSP 3.42 released a new feature call “Attributes” which enables customized metadata to be added to your model at nearly infinite depth and complexity. There are a variety of data types that can be used and almost no limit to how attributes are organized or applied. In lieu of in-depth coverage of these new features within the OpenVSP Ground School content (for now), links to the 2025 OpenVSP Workshop presentation and the recorded session and demonstration are provided below.
Attributes have opened the door for incredible depth, description, and traceability in your OpenVSP models never before possible with this software.
