Tim Crumbley – NESC Academy Biography

Mr. Crumbley is the Deputy Manager of the NASA NESC Software Technical Discipline Team in the Office of the Chief Engineer. He has over 29 years of experience working in software engineering.   Mr. Crumbley has experience working with NASA’s industry partners and NASA in-house software development organizations on mission critical space flight software projects.  He has over 15 years of experience working with the Office of Chief Engineer (OCE) on NASA software policy. 

Mr. Crumbley is the responsible for NASA software policy and requirements, his responsibilities include being the OPR for the NASA Software Engineering Requirement document, NPR 7150.2.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
