
Raquel Redhouse
Raquel Redhouse has worked for NASA for over sixteen years. She started off her career as a cooperative student working with microgravity fluids experiments followed by a full-time position in thermal and fluids at Glenn Research Center. Prior to joining Code PX at Ames Research Center, Raquel led numerous systems engineering positions in human spaceflight missions like the Artemis Program. Currently, she supports the Small Spacecraft Systems Virtual Institute (S3VI) which is jointly sponsored by the Space Technology Mission Directorate and the Science Mission Directorate. Raquel serves as the lead for the monthly Small Spacecraft Community of Practice Webinar Series as well as for the Space Mission Design Tools which is a summary of NASA-developed and other open-source software tools used in the development of small spacecraft missions. Recently Raquel has also Joined the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph team to ensure that there will always be coverage to insure a smooth data download and robust operation of the spacecraft.
