Professional Bio
Liz Wagstaff has served as the Deputy Division Chief of Human-Systems Integration (HSI) since August 2023. She recently took on the additional role of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Group Lead in August 2025. Previously, she was the Cross-Program Integrated Data Systems (CPIDS) Team Lead within the HCI Group from September 2019 to August 2025.
Liz joined the HSI Division and HCI Group in 2015 after receiving her master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. She’s worked on various projects for teams at Ames as well as across NASA. These include designing a procedure execution tool for the Arc Jet facility, managing a workflow management application for Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) for Artemis missions, and creating a Cross-Program Search tool to be used as part of launch operations.
