Dr. Amy R. Winebarger is a solar astrophysicist employed at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. She specializes in the analysis of observations of the solar corona and compares these observations with computer models. Dr. Winebarger is one of the first female principal investigators for sounding rocket missions and has been in the management team for 9 missions to date
