Memoirs Of Retired Dryden Chief Scientist Ken Iliff Published

Kenneth W. Iliff, NASA Dryden Flight Research Center’s former chief scientist, visited the center on Tuesday, July 20, to sign his recently published memoir “From Runway to Orbit: Reflections of a NASA Engineer.” The book chronicles Iliff’s 40-year NASA career, interweaving personal anecdotes with broad observations about the relationship between aeronautics and spaceflight. Also participating in the signing were Curtis Peebles of Dryden’s history office, who served as collaborator and editor for the book, and Mark Pestana, NASA research pilot and nationally recognized aviation artist, who painted the artwork for the jacket.
