Vice Presidential Visit, Gemini Program

Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey (left) visits the Mission Control Center at what was then called Cape Kennedy during the Gemini 3 mission of Gus Grissom and John Young on March 23, 1965. The first Gemini mission with a crew was the last mission controlled from this facility. With Gemini IV, mission control moved to Houston.
