Gold Knobby Sea Rod
A gold knobby sea rod (Eunicea) drifts in the water off of Punta Soldado, Puerto Rico, while NASA Ames research scientist and coral expert Juan Torres-Pérez floats in the background. These reefs are one of several field locations for Torres-Pérez’s OCEANOS internship, where students learn oceanography technology, field techniques, and data processing.
