iss059e001041 (March 18, 2019) --- NASA astronaut Anne McClain works inside the crew airlock portion of the U.S. Quest airlock before the Expedition 59 crew members would begin a series of spacewalks to upgrade power systems on the International Space Station. Quest is divided into two parts. The equipment lock is where spacewalkers configure their tools and suit up in their U.S. spacesuits. The crew lock is the unit that is depressurized and repressurized and contains the hatch where the spacewalkers exit into the vacuum of space.
