Micrometeorology Team

A micrometeorology team out of University of Alabama, Huntsville poses in front of their mobile radar wind profiler truck during a prescribed burn at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield. The team used radar and lidar systems to capture the interactions between wind and fire and to analyze smoke particulates during the April 2025 NASA FireSense research campaign.
