William Wall, Jason Cole, and Matthew Patterson and check the GPS unit used to mark the location of sonic anemometers around a prescribed burn Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia. These three researchers were part of the U.S. Forest Service Fire Behavior team during the April 2025 FireSense campaign, which used anemometers to track wind and temperature in order to better understand how these factors impact fire behavior.
