Iss072e096196 and iss072e098100 (Oct. 23, 2024) NASA astronaut Don Pettit merges science and art by turning water into thin wafers of ice using a space station freezer kept at -140 degrees Fahrenheit. Pettit photographed the ice using special equipment he brought from Earth, including a polarizing filter.
