RAM PIPE INSTALLATION ON P-80 MODEL
A Y-shaped ram pipe conducted pressurized air directly to engine inlets for some tests in the Altitude Wind Tunnel (AWT), including this windmilling study of the GE I-40 engines on the Lockheed YP-80A ( 1945).
