
A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft backs away from the International Space Station
iss074e0335132 (Feb. 26, 2026) --- A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, packed with several tons of science experiments and lab hardware, backs away from the Harmony module’s forward port shortly after undocking from the International Space Station. The orbital outpost was soaring 271 miles above Argentina’s Atlantic coast at the time of this photograph. Dragon splashed down several hours later in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California, where it was retrieved by NASA and SpaceX personneL.
