Astronaut Nick Hague explores the potential of biomanufacturing in space

Hague was exploring the potential of biomanufacturing using microorganisms and cell cutlures to create food, medicine, and more in the microgravity environment reducing the need for cargo missions launched from Earth and promoting crew self-sufficiency during long-term missions.
