Wallops Airfield Crew hosted a FOD Runway Walk, (F.O.D. stands for Foreign Object Debris.) on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the NASA Fitness Challenge. Along the 4-mile course, starting at D-1 Hangar, FOD Walkers helped out by picking up any F.O.D. along the way. A lucky few found Gold F.O.D., that was placed around the airfield ahead of time, and that meant free chicken lunch at the Launch Pad Cafeteria. The F.O.D. Walk finished up at N-159 Hangar at the 4-mile mark.
