Project: Quiet Spike
NASA F-15B #836 in flight with Quiet Spike attached. While these tests didn’t actually ‘quiet’ the F-15’s sonic boom, they showed that the spike’s design was capable of use in a real flight environment. The flights and data being recorded were closely monitored in NASA Dryden’s mission control.
