Astronaut Scott Carpenter is fully suited and is having his gloves adjusted by technician Al Rochford. Carpenter is in the Hanger S crew quarters at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station during a preflight preparations for the Mercury-Atlas 7 flight on May 24, 1962.
