June 3, 2015 – A simulation test of the Regolith and Environment Science and Oxygen and Lunar Volatiles Extraction (RESOLVE) payload for a future Resource Prospector mission to the moon was the first use of one of the new 21st century multi-user control rooms inside Firing Room 4 in the Launch Control Center at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. RESOLVE team members monitor the test inside one of the control rooms. The Ground Systems Development and Operations Program managed the construction of four new separate control room areas that can be flexible to meet current and future NASA and commercial user requirements.
