Joan A. (Jody) Singer is deputy director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Named to the post in February 2016, Singer assists Marshall Director Todd May in managing one of NASA’s largest field installations, with an annual budget of approximately $2.5 billion and nearly 6,000 on- and near-site civil service and contractor employees. Singer served from 2013-2016 as manager of Marshall’s Flight Programs and Partnerships Office. (NASA/MSFC)
