The beauty of the Autumn landscape frames the pond at the Guerin Management Center at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Northeast Ohio. Guerin Pond and the waterways that surround Glenn, including Abram Creek and the Rocky River, are protected by Glenn’s comprehensive Storm Water Management Plan.
Bordered by the Cleveland Metropark’s Rocky River Reservation, Lewis Field encompasses 326 acres, much of it concrete surfaces. Storm water management practices such as sediment control on construction sites and use of permeable pavement and biogardens help prevent pollutants from entering the rivers and streams that feed the Lake Erie watershed.
