Explanation or story behind the patch: Dr. Trong Bui built an experimental aerospike rocket. To date it remains the only supersonic data (and the only flight research/test) of an aerospike (a form of self compensating rocket nozzle). Dr. Bui loved this idea, and used it for his logo for the aerospike rocket.
