The newest Near Earth Network antenna, AS3, was declared operational. This antenna located within at the Alaska Satellite Facility is operated by the University of Alaska. AS3 joined AS1 and AS2 which provide tracking, telemetry and command (TT&C) to polar orbiting Earth-observing missions.
