The Imaging X-Ray Polarimetry Explorer spacecraft, or IXPE, stands ready to undergo integrated testing at Ball Aerospace facilities in Boulder, Colorado. The IXPE mission, jointly led by NASA and the Italian Space Agency, will measure the polarization of cosmic X-rays to further understanding of the fundamental physics of extreme and exotic objects in the universe, including black holes and exploded stars.
