ISARA will perform a pioneering ability to increase downlink data rates for CubeSats via an in-space demonstration of an integrated radio frequency Ka-band and solar panel. The spacecraft’s three antenna panels feature a printed circuit board pattern that narrowly focuses the CubeSat’s radio transmission beam in much the same way a parabolic dish reflector does.
