On launch day, the SLS Engineering Support Center team at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will support the team working in the Launch Control Center at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Working around-the-clock in multiple shifts, the team will monitor the health of the vehicle and respond promptly to any technical issues that might arise before and during launch and ascent on the Artemis I mission. More than 200 team members from NASA and industry will be positioned in the support center and other remote locations across the country for the wet dress rehearsal and launch.
