ED09-0295-13Shovels in the Sand – Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Oct. 14 for the new Consolidated Information Technology Center at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center. The 22,000-square-foot, two-story facility will be built by Southwestern Dakotah Inc., of Tucson, AZ, under a $5.8 million contract. The new building will be a state-of-the-art facility to meet current and anticipated future information technology requirements. The first “green” building to be constructed at Dryden, the facility will incorporate water and energy conservation features and will use durable materials that do not degrade indoor environmental quality.
