L-band polarmetric image of the Kangerlugssuaq ice fjord, centered at 68 degrees 38 minutes North, 33 degrees 03 minutes West in Greenland. This false color 17 x 30 km SAR image was taken with the Synthetic Aperture Radar aboard NASA’s C-20A research aircraft in May 2009 as part of the Arctic Ice Radar Mission. It is a composite of three polarizations with HH polarization colored red, HV colored green, and VV colored blue.
