Astronaut Alfred M. Worden, command module pilot of the Apollo 15 lunar landing mission, floats in space outside the spacecraft during a spacewalk on the mission’s return to Earth. This photograph was taken from a frame of motion picture film from a camera mounted in the hatch of the command module. During his spacewalk, Worden inspected of the service module’s Scientific Instrument Module bay and retrieved film cassettes. The EVA occurred when the spacecraft was homeward bound approximately 197,000 nautical miles from Earth.
