At the 2014 IUCN World Parks Congress in Sydney, Australia, NASA Ames Research Scientist and PI of the Ames Laboratory for Advanced Sensing (LAS) Ved Chirayath presented Fluid Lensing and the results from his team’s recent field campaigns. Chirayath was invited to participate in a plenary talk with Dr. Sylvia Earle and Dan Laffoley, and presented his work on mapping Hamelin Pool stromatolites alongside Erica Parke from the University of Miami and Blanche D’Anastasi of the ARC Center of Excellence for Coral Reef studies.
