The NASA UTM Team Named Finalist for the 2020 World ATM Congress Maverick Award for Innovation
The Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) Team was named a finalist for the 2020 World ATM Congress Maverick Award for Innovation. The UTM Team is composed of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and industry partners that were instrumental in the development and test of the UTM system for air traffic management (ATM). The World ATM Congress Maverick Award for Innovation recognizes new ideas, technologies, and concepts that challenge current ATM norms with the potential to significantly advance performance, operations, or capabilities.
