Daniel Battle
Deputy Division Business Manager
Danny Battle is the Deputy Division Business Manager of the Planetary Science Projects Division (PSPD).
His NASA journey started in 2016 as a Pathways student trainee for the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Program. After completing the Pathways Program, Daniel converted to a full-time NASA resources analyst for JPSS, where he supported the Program Office and Flight Project. After a few years at JPSS, he changed roles to become a resources analyst for the Mars Sample Return-Capture Containment and Return System (MSR-CCRS), then most recently, Dragonfly Payloads.
My favorite aspect of the job is being part of a team. It is amazing what we can accomplish together!

Daniel has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Hood College and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from American University. When time allows, he enjoy playing and watching sports, as well as exploring the outdoors with my family.
