Countdown Underway for Orbital ATK CRS-6

The countdown is underway for the liftoff of a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 41. As a commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station, or ISS, an Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft will deliver approximately 7,500 pounds of supplies, equipment and scientific research materials to the orbiting outpost. Experiments aboard the ISS are designed to improve life on Earth and drive progress toward future space exploration. Liftoff is scheduled for 11:05 p.m. EDT.
