Gary Wick, lead NOAA scientist for the SHOUT mission answers a question from a member of the press at a NASA Armstrong media event held on Feb. 5. SHOUT is a multi-year mission to show how the use of autonomous vehicles can fill in gaps in weather modeling and as a potential backup in case a satellite is unable to capture data.
