JSC2013-E-091186 (26 Oct. 2013) — On the right side of this photo, Expedition 38 Flight Engineer Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (left), Flight Engineer Rick Mastracchio of NASA (center) and Soyuz Commander Mikhail Tyurin, Russian cosmonaut, acknowledge the cheers of well-wishers on hand to greet them at the airport in Baikonur, Kazakhstan Oct. 26 after they arrived on a flight from their training base in Star City, Russia for final pre-launch preparations. Mastracchio, Wakata and Tyurin are scheduled to launch Nov. 7, Kazakh time, in the Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft from Baikonur to begin a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
