Cosmonauts Sergei Mikaev and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov open the hatch between the International Space Station and the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft

iss074e0813850 (July 14, 2026) --- Expedition 74 flight engineer (from left) Sergei Mikaev and station commander Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, both from Roscosmos, open the hatch between the International Space Station's Prichal module and the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft. Moments later, new station crew members Anil Menon of NASA and Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, both from Roscosmos, would exit the Soyuz MS-29 and enter Prichal beginning an eight-and-a-half-month space research mission.
