Supersonic Aircraft Recommendations Performance Assessment

The Supersonic Aircraft Recommendations Performance Assessment will ask students to analyze pressure wave data from different aircraft capable of flying at a supersonic speeds. Through group and individual work, students will graph data, make claims about noise levels, and present their claims and evidence to the class. Individually, students will have a chance to revise their claims, explain their reasoning, and apply their knowledge as they make a recommendation about where each aircraft should be allowed to fly.
