NASA has selected Native Resource Development Company Inc. of Bernalillo, New Mexico, to provide custodial services at the agency’s Johnson Space Center, Ellington Field, and Sonny Carter Training Facility in Houston.
The Custodial, Housekeeping, Waste Removal, and Insect Extermination-2 (CHWIE-2) contract is a firm fixed-price single award blanket purchase agreement with a potential maximum value of $35 million. The period of performance of this small business set-aside contract includes a one-year base period beginning March 1, 2022, and four one-year options.
CHWIE-2 will provide basic, regularly scheduled cleaning of buildings, medical offices, and laboratories; recycling and solid waste removal; hard floor stripping, sealing, and waxing or finishing; carpet and rug steam cleaning; and pest control. The contractor also will perform these services during emergencies and special events.
