Edward Harmon

Ed is currently the SOFIA Mission Operations Development Lead at NASA Ames Research Center. His responsibilities includes the development of both airborne and ground based observatory operations including deployments. He has been working on SOFIA since 2005. Prior to SOFIA, he was the Verification and Validation Manager for Lockheed Martin Space Operations, with his main area of responsibility being ISS payload verification. Prior to Lockheed Ed spent 16 years with Electromagnetic Systems Laboratory, (ESL) in Sunnyvale, where he was an integration and test engineer. Ed has a B.S. in Information Technology.
