
Craig Burkhard
Craig Graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters and PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering Science. Craig began working at the NASA Ames Research Center in 2009. He worked for several contracts at ARC before he became a Research Engineer for NASA in 2013. At that time Craig worked on the Neutralization of the Asteroid Threat study, then continued as the Deputy Project Manager for the Asteroid Threat Assessment Project.
Currently Craig supports the Small Spacecraft Systems Virtual Institute, (S3VI) which serves as a common portal for NASA-related small spacecraft activities, the S3VI offers an online resource providing access to the Small Spacecraft Technology State of the Art report and the SmallSat Parts On Orbit Now, (SPOON) database, and a collection of current NASA small spacecraft funding opportunities.
