
Expedition 11
The Expedition 11 crew learned to operate an ultrasound device with assistance from doctor's on Earth advancing telemedicine and studied chromosomal changes caused by cosmic radiation before and after a spaceflight. The crewmates also studied ways to lessen the risk of fires in space and set up EarthKAM, a camera remotely-controlled by students to photograph Earth landmarks.
