Internships
Prospective interns are able to apply through the common NASA internship portal. Detailed information about internships at centers working on human missions to Mars and points of contact are discussed below.
- Information about NASA internships and application portal: Here
- Search for NASA internships: Here
- Summer Internship Application Deadline: Early March
- Fall Internship Application Deadline: Late May
- Spring Internship Application Deadline: Early November
- Note: JPL is an independent research center rather than an official NASA center. Therefore, it has its own internship application webpage and deadlines.
- Note: NASA internships are only open to American citizens.
- Note: You will need a USRA account to apply for NASA internships, so plan ahead.
Pathways
A NASA Pathway is an in-depth, early-career opportunity. It allows students to either spend one semester at three different NASA centers or three semesters at one center. Rather than having one application deadline, various Pathways opportunities across NASA centers are constantly opening and closing. A Pathways opportunity usually only stays open for a week or two, so check the website often. Detailed information about Pathways at centers working on human missions to Mars and points of contact are discussed below.

- Note: NASA Pathways are only open to American citizens.
- Note: You will need a USA Jobs account to apply for NASA Pathways, so plan ahead.
