
Lake Titicaca
iss069e086188 (Sept. 7, 2023) -- Lake Titicaca, the highest major body of navigable water in the world, borders Peru and Bolivia in the Andes Mountain region. It's the largest lake in South America, fed by glacial rivers draining into the body of water. As the International Space Station orbited roughly 260 miles above, NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli captured this image.
