Metro Information
Orange Line or Blue Line: To Federal Center SW – Take the escalator to the 3rd Street exit, turn right, walk under the small overpass (1 1/2 blocks) to the intersection of3rd and E Street. NASA HQ is on the right. All visitors must enter through the visitor’s entrance which is located on the West side of the NASA HQ building.
Yellow Line or Green Line: To L’Enfant Plaza – Follow signs to the 7th & D St exit. Once on D Street, turn right and walk ½ block to 6th Street. Turn right and walk 1 block to E. Street. Turn left and walk 1 1/2 blocks to 4th Street. NASA Headquarters is across the street on the right.

Parking at NASA Headquarters
Your parking options include the HQ parking garage, street parking, and a variety of private parking lots close to Headquarters.
Visitors who are pre-approved by their sponsor or NASA POC may use the NASA HQ parking garage located beneath the building. The entrance is on E Street, in the middle of the block.
If you are staying at one of the hotels, you will have to pay for parking in the hotel parking lot. The nearest public garage is beside Federal Center SW Metro station. Google Maps will give you the best idea of where parking lots are. Street parking is limited and on a meter system.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4:30 PM
The Headquarters Gift Shop is part of NASA Exchange, and is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM – 4:30 PM. When you shop at the NASA Exchange Store, you can bring home a toddler’s astronaut suit, indulge in a candy bar or purchase NASA memorabilia. Please note the hours may change periodically. A schedule is posted in the Exchange Store window.

To schedule meetings or conferences at NASA Headquarters, please use the NASA HQ Conference scheduling system (only available to NASA civil servants).
Agency organizations may book these spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.

NASA HQ Health Unit
The NASA HQ Health Unit is currently open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Health Unit is located on the concourse level of NASA Headquarters, in CD70.

Frontiers Forum Speaker Series
Voices Shaping the Future of Space
Members of the public are invited to join some of NASA’s brightest minds as they discuss agency missions and current topics in aerospace technology, science, and innovation. Each event will feature NASA experts, and the series will cover a range of topics including our search for life within the universe, the Moon Base, airplanes of the future, and the impact of artificial intelligence on education and the technological workforce.
There is no cost to attend, and preregistration is not required.
Seating is limited and available on a first -come, first-served basis.
For all series events, the location is the Webb Auditorium within NASA Headquarters located at 300 Hidden Figures Way SW, Washington, D.C.
